| Happy Customers |
When people ask me how I gauge the success of my work, or if I have had a good wedding that day, I always ask myself 'was the client happy?' A happy client is really the only way that I can say for sure that I have done a good job.

| Nate and Shelley in Grapevine |
I reckon my readers are tired, tired, tired of hearing how overworked and busy I am, and are waiting for me to come up with some more goods.
So again, completely out of order, let me show you some images from Nate and Shelley's wedding in Grapevine.
Nate's a super cool Christian man. In fact, I almost feel like he's family, since I photographed his sister Rebekah's wedding earlier this summer.
And Shelley made for a stunning, stunning bride.
The ceremony was so tasteful, elegant and spiritual.
Now let's see some details...
WOW! Check out the cake!
This is Shelley's father, who was so kind and thoughtful to the jimmages staff.
And this is Justus, who helped me to get all of the folks lined up properly for the formals. He did a great job, and had a great sense of humor, too.
It was a great wedding, guys. I felt like jumping for joy, too, just for being there!

| Back from Florida |
The family and I had a great time in Florida. Now we're back and about ready to start shooting some more Texas weddings!
Yep, what they say about the sand and the water in Destin is true. Like sugar and liquid emeralds.

| Ari and Tara at Barron's on 5th Street in Waco |
Hi everyone. We're back from sunny Florida just in time, and I mean just in time, to get to Waco to photograph Ari and Tara's wedding.
Here at | jimmages | we have a lot of rules about blogging, including NEVER blog out of order.
Here at | jimmages | we have a lot of rules about blogging so we can break lots of rules, especially the one about blogging out of order. So I am breaking that rule now and blogging the wedding that we did last night with Ari and Tara in Waco.
Let me warn you, dear blog-reader that this wedding was pretty cool, and so there will be lots of photos in this post. So please plan to be here awhile :>)
The wedding took place at Barron's on 5th St. As a guy who owns an 86 year old house, I really appreciate the beauty of this place.
The bride's dressing room had this, well, wall of boxes...
Here's the garter. More on that later!
It was 102 degrees in the shade at wedding time.
Which made this photo really important to be able to take.
Here's our lovely bride Tara.
And the girls.
I love being 'backstage' at a wedding. Watching all of the prep work really makes you appreciate it even more.
Plus, you get to meet so many nice people. Like this young man.
Ari had the greatest idea for groomsmen gifts I have ever seen. He had a baseball bat customized for each one of them. Here's the one he gave to the best man. Brilliant idea for a gift!
And the guys loved them, too.
I loved the old fashioned veil that Tara chose.
Yeah, I have no idea.
No idea at all.
Not one.
Ari gets his first glimpse of Tara in her wedding dress.
And Tara has her own emotional moment, too.
First stroll as husband and wife.
Tara couldn't have been more stunning.
Nor Ari more dashing.
The reception was held at a place called the Hog Creek Ice House. It was a doozy of a place.
Ari and Tara drove around for a bit before getting to the reception. I think that's a great idea, to spend some time alone before the party.
And so they snuck in the back way.
Let's see some details...
Ari, don't try this yourself...
Now for some cake.
Ari and his Dad share a moment.
Let the dancing begin.
Tara had one more surprise for Ari before the night was over. Remember, I said we'd get back to the garter?
Yep, she subbed in her grandmother without Ari's knowledge.
And she even got a dance out of it later!
All's well that ends well. Thanks Tara and Ari, for letting us be part of your amazing wedding!
